Mr. Theede started his travelling journey in his early twenties. His curiosity to discover the world led him to explore various countries and their cultures.
During this period he travelled to many continents for longer and shorter seasons. In South East Asia Mr. Theede spent many years where he met his wife.

A major professional milestone came with IOM in Kenya (East Africa). A few years later he worked as Deputy Chief Mission in Maputo (Mozambique).

After having travelled and worked in various positions, he has now landed in Vienna with his  family, where he works at the IOM Regional Office for South-Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Mr. Theede is approaching his 15th anniversary at the Migration Agency. His daily tasks include: Technical advice through online meetings, workshops, strategy engagement with governments and meeting with UN partners.
