Maintaining global peace is the primary goal of the United Nations in New York, Vienna, Geneva and Nairobi. International organizations such as (OECS, UN, WHO, WTO, IMF) are essential to respond to global challenges and thus ensure stability. Furthermore, local and regional organizations are also crucial to address the needs of communities and develop a sustainable solution. Targeted implementation plans, regular meetings and discussions are big steps to accomplish conflictmanagement.
A reform of the Security Council is a complex and already much-discussed issue that requires global thinking. The permanent members are the United States of America, Russia, China, France and the United Kingdom. The non-permanent members comprise a number of 10 states. Maintaining a peaceful world and justice for all recquires a non – use of force. It is a process that requires a lot of effort and cooperation skills. The international organizations make their contribution and each individual can also become active through personal commitment.
At the end of the event, the Stratcom Forum offered a film screening for all those who wanted to round off the afternoon with music by Fahir Atakoglu.
Book “A Fairer World Is Possible” was published by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in 2021.
